I'm a naturalist, chemist,
physicist, and a geologist. Whether you are a new science
teacher or have taught for many years, you realize how
important it is for the students to see how science is
everywhere and in everyone. Adding Elementary Computers to
my teaching experience is a beginning step to having
students explore the science of Technology. A few years ago,
a Quiz Bowl team I had advised wore a team Tee with this
quote from Albert Einstein: "The important thing is to never
stop questioning...". How better to explain the nature of
Science education and learning than as an environment of
questioning and curiosity. This, I feel, is why I love
teaching....to create life-long learners captured by their
own questioning and curiosity. |
