I have always wanted to
be a teacher, for as long as I can remember. Coming from
a family of educators, education has always been
something of high value to us. Being a teacher is more
than "just teaching"; it is about understanding and
supporting the development of a child. Teachers dedicate
their lives to help create our future leaders by
encouraging each child to do their best, and to reach
their fullest potential. It is very rewarding to
nurture and guide students into young adulthood, with the
skills necessary to excel in their chosen paths. I have
always liked the quote by John Lubbock, "The important
thing is not so much that every child should be taught,
as that every child should be given the wish to learn." |
